Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi; hereinafter "CCC") and its subsidiary, Tsutaya Taiwan Co., Ltd., have opened "TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Hizuki Town Store," their 12th store in Taiwan, a lifestyle-oriented BOOK & CAFE that combines a bookstore and a cafe, on Thursday, August 1, 2024. The store is located along Expressway 14, which connects Sun Moon Lake, Taiwan's largest lake and popular for its beautiful scenery, with Puli Township.

Sun Moon Lake is the largest lake in Taiwan, located in Yuchi Township, Nantou County, and is a popular tourist destination around the world for its beautiful scenery surrounded by mountains. TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Sun Moon Town is a four-story book and cafe located along Expressway 14 towards Sun Moon Lake.

Based on the concept of a "road bookstore," the store will provide a relaxing space for tourists visiting Sun Moon Lake as a "road bookstore."As an "unknown bookstore," we also aim to provide a place for local residents to explore the unknown charms of the local area, rediscover themselves, and grow.

　WIRED CAFE, which has 76 seats on the second and third floors, will serve coffee and tea, as well as new menu items such as the Hojicha Roll Cake and Hojicha Cheesecake, both made with roasted green tea, and a limited-time menu item called the Japanese-Western Blend Jubako, which includes a Western-style appetizer and a choice of Japanese main dish.
