- The second store of "Olive LOUNGE," a joint project with the SMBC Group -

Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi; hereinafter "CCC") will open the "SHARE LOUNGE Olive LOUNGE Shimotakaido Store" on the second floor of the "Olive LOUNGE Shimotakaido Store" to be opened on Monday, October 7, 2024, by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (President and CEO: Fukudome Akihiro; hereinafter "SMBC"), a subsidiary of Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, Inc. (President and Group CEO: Nakajima Tatsuru; hereinafter the Group is collectively referred to as "SMBC Group").

"SHARE LOUNGE," which CCC is expanding mainly in the Tokyo metropolitan area, is a space that combines the convenience of a "shared office" with the comfort of a "lounge."In addition to having a bookstore attached, we are expanding our collaborations with various business types, including banks, hotels, offices, and residences.

The new Olive LOUNGE Shimotakaido store is based on the spatial concept of "Shimotakaido Forest," and is filled with lush greenery. The SHARE LOUNGE is surrounded by greenery and books, and is designed to resemble a relaxing space under the shade of a tree. With 63 seats, SHARE LOUNGE can be used as a workspace, a cafe and bar, and as a place to relax while shopping or after work. Through SHARE LOUNGE, Olive LOUNGE Shimotakaido aims to become a hub for connections in the town of Shimotakaido, and contribute to the creation of a store that will become a symbol of the town. Further details about the "SHARE LOUNGE" will be announced in due course.

About CCC Group and Olive LOUNGE

In October 2022, the CCC Group and SMBC Group entered into a capital and business alliance with the aim of creating one of Japan's largest payment and points economies, and began offering the "Blue and Yellow V Points" in April 2024.
CCC has redefined the Olive strategy promoted by the SMBC Group into spatial value, utilizing the know-how of the CCC Group, and is producing the "Olive LOUNGE" as a joint project with the SMBC Group.
Our first store, Olive LOUNGE Shibuya, opened in May 2024 and has been visited by a wide range of customers, who have come to spend a comfortable time here.
