Culture Experience Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Shinichiro Kamaura), which operates TSUTAYA stores nationwide, and Shiratori Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture; President and CEO: Satoshi Nishimaru), a TSUTAYA member company, are renovating Shiratori's general sports shop, Sportpia Shiratori Shizuoka Store, which is operated in Shizuoka City.The new store, TSUTAYA Conditioning Sportpia Shiratori Shizuoka Store, one of the largest in the country, will pre-open on Friday, September 27, 2024, with the concept of "balancing the mind and body," and free trial sessions will be held until October 28. The grand opening will be on Tuesday, October 29th.

About "TSUTAYA Conditioning"

"TSUTAYA Conditioning" is a lifestyle gym proposed by TSUTAYA with the concept of "balancing the mind and body."In a space surrounded by carefully selected books, we offer the latest machines and yoga programs that even beginners can easily continue, as well as events and other activities that will enrich your lifestyle based on exercise, beauty, food, and daily life. "TSUTAYA Conditioning" opened its first store in Sakurashinmachi, Setagaya Ward, Tokyo in 2017.

"TSUTAYA Conditioning SpoPia Shiratori Shizuoka Store" is the 11th "TSUTAYA Conditioning" store nationwide, and in addition to the gym and yoga areas, it is the first store to also have a Pilates studio. It will be one of the largest stores in the country, with an area of approximately 620m2. The hotel also features a book lounge and a work desk area, offering a space where you can "balance your mind and body."

1) Find the best conditioning method for you at "TSUTAYA Conditioning," one of the largest in the country

The area for getting in shape is divided into a gym area, yoga studio, and Pilates studio, allowing customers to use the facilities to suit their own exercise habits and pace. In the gym area, training machines equipped with the latest AI will suggest exercises tailored to each customer when they register their personal information, allowing even beginners to exercise easily and comfortably, just like playing a game. In the yoga studio, you can enjoy programs including original yoga. You can participate in person or online from home at no additional cost, so you can enjoy yoga that fits your lifestyle. At our Pilates studio, beginner-level machine Pilates lessons are available in small groups for women only, led by experienced instructors.

2) You can read about 200 books carefully selected by the concierge of Daikanyama T-SITE.

In between exercise sessions, you can enjoy reading books before or after your lesson from the bookshelf stocked with approximately 200 books on the themes of exercise, beauty, food, and lifestyle, selected by the concierge of Daikanyama T-SITE. Tanita Cafe also offers healthy coffee and food, so you can enjoy reading with a cup of coffee in hand.

3) Reservation-only, with a variety of plan options available

Reservations are required for both yoga and Pilates lessons, and you can reserve your preferred lesson date and time through our dedicated reservation website. Customers can cancel their reservation up to one hour before the scheduled time through the reservation website, so even if an unexpected appointment comes up, you can cancel without having to pay the fee for the one session, which is reassuring. You can also choose a plan that suits your individual pace.  

4) Earn V Points by paying monthly membership fees and using some services

Starting September 17th, you can now earn V Points through monthly membership fees for "TSUTAYA Conditioning" and some service fees.
*Members can complete the V Point ID linking procedure from their My Page on the website to complete the process of receiving V Points for their monthly membership fee.

　"TSUTAYA Conditioning" will propose a healthy lifestyle that will align the mind and body through experiences such as yoga and Mashi Pilates.

*2 This is a service that allows you to receive real-time video streaming of studio lessons.
*The monthly fee for the first month will be calculated on a pro rata basis based on the start date of use.
*Prices shown include tax.
