(Head office: Koto-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Onishi Yukihiko; hereinafter referred to as "Sumitomo Mitsui Card") will be holding a campaign from Friday, November 1st to Saturday, November 30th, 2024, in which customers will receive five times the V POINT when they present their "Mobile V Card" at the time of payment at approximately 900 bookstores nationwide, including TSUTAYA, Maruzen Junkudo Bookstore, Seibundo Bookstore, Kinokuniya Bookstore, and Honya Club With member stores. In addition, we will also be running a campaign where you can win up to 10,000 V POINT when you pay using Sumitomo Mitsui Card's smartphone touch payment.
November 1st is Book Day. We are now launching a campaign to help you enjoy the autumn reading season by allowing you to earn V POINT at great value at bookstores. By entering the campaign on the campaign website and presenting your Mobile V Card at any store, you can earn five times the V POINT you would normally earn 1 point for every 200 yen (※1) spent during the campaign period.
In addition, during the same period, if you link your V membership number with your SMBC Group ID and pay using Sumitomo Mitsui Card's smartphone touch payment, 20,000 people will be entered into a lottery to win up to 10,000 V POINT.
V POINT earned through the campaign can be used at TSUTAYA, Maruzen Junkudo Bookstore, Seibundo Bookstore, Kinokuniya Bookstore, Honya Club With member stores, etc., with 1 point = 1 yen, and can also be used at approximately 160,000 V POINT partner stores nationwide and approximately 100 million stores worldwide that accept Visa contactless payments.
Each bookstore will give away a bookmark with an original V POINT design!
During the campaign period, customers who purchase books at bookstores such as TSUTAYA, Maruzen Junkudo Bookstore, Seibundo Bookstore, Kinokuniya Bookstore, and Honya Club With member stores will receive a V POINT original design bookmark in-store (※2).
