-To celebrate the opening, the "Matsuken Samba Pop-Up Shop" will also be held!-
Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi; hereinafter referred to as "CCC") will open the "IP Bookstore" located on the 6th floor of TSUTAYA's flagship store, SHIBUYA TSUTAYA (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), which underwent its first renovation in 24 years in April 2024, as the "Osaka IP Bookstore" on the 1st basement floor of "TSUTAYA EBISUBASHI," located in the heart of Ebisubashi, Osaka, on Friday, December 20th.
In addition, to commemorate the opening of the Osaka IP Bookstore, the Matsuken Samba POPUP SHOP, inspired by the world of Matsuken Samba II, a song that remains hugely popular among a wide range of generations even 20 years after its release, will be open for a limited time from Friday, December 20, 2024 to Monday, January 13, 2025.
About "IP Bookstore"
"IP Bookstore" is based on the slogan "Create a world with what you love. Located on the 6th floor of SHIBUYA TSUTAYA, which reopened in April 2024 with the theme of "Japan's Best IP Entertainment," this space brings together Japan's leading IP entertainment content and allows fans to connect with each other. The store mainly sells comics, figures, and merchandise, with more than half of the items being limited edition products original to "IP Bookstore."We also hold events that allow you to experience something unique to "IP Bookstore" through collaborations with various IP entertainment content.
The second store, Osaka IP Bookstore, will open in the same way as SHIBUYA TSUTAYA, and will offer a wide range of IP content that can only be purchased and experienced here, including limited edition products in collaboration with various IP entertainment content, pop-up shops, and events.

About the "Matsuken Samba POP UP SHOP" to celebrate the opening of "Osaka IP Bookstore"
"Matsuken Samba II" has been around for 20 years since its release and remains hugely popular among a wide range of generations. To celebrate the opening of Osaka IP Bookstore, we will be holding a pop-up shop inspired by the world of this song, which makes you feel happy and wants to dance when you listen to it. An announcement video featuring the "extra-large Matsuken" will also be shown on storefront signage, adding a gorgeous and splendid touch to Ebisubashi during the New Year holidays.
The pop-up shop will be selling the original in-store lottery "Matsuken" as well as Matsuken goods with a nostalgic and touching design. We will also be releasing "Matsuken Ame" in collaboration with "Pine Ame" from Pine Corporation, a company originating in Osaka. In addition, for every purchase of eligible products worth 2,200 yen (tax included), you will also receive a novelty bromide (5 types in total).
