Tanita Health Link Co., Ltd. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Toshida Keisuke; abbreviated as THL), which operates a healthcare service business, CCC MK HOLDINGS Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi), and Sumitomo Mitsui Card Co., Ltd. (Head office: Koto-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Onishi Yukihiko), will begin exchanging "Health Points"*1, a points program offered by THL as part of its healthcare services for individuals, local governments, and companies, for "V POINT."As the first step, THL will begin exchanging "Karada Karte Points," health points for individual members of its online health management service "Karada Karte"*2, for "V POINT" from December 2nd.

THL's "Health Points" is a points program offered to "Karada Karute" members for individuals and to participants in the "Tanita Health Program"*3 for local governments and companies, with the aim of raising health awareness and encouraging behavioral change. Points are automatically awarded when you achieve goals such as the number of steps taken or the number of measurements taken on a body composition scale, and you can check the points you have earned on a dedicated website or app. Accumulated points can be exchanged for electronic money or digital gifts, which is expected to increase motivation to improve one's health and encourage continued efforts.

With the aim of increasing the convenience of "Health Points" and helping even more people to improve their health, we are now launching a service that allows you to exchange one "Health Point" for one "V POINT."The exchanged V POINT can be used at 160,000 V POINT partner stores nationwide and 100 million Visa member stores worldwide. The start of the exchange for V POINT will not only improve the convenience of the point programs for the Body Chart and Tanita Health Program, but will also be an effective approach to those who are not interested in health.

THL, CCC MK HOLDINGS and Sumitomo Mitsui Card will continue to support the health of many consumers by exchanging "Health Points" for "V POINT."

*1: Health points 
A points program that awards points based on healthy behaviors such as the number of steps taken and the number of measurements taken. Individual members can earn points by achieving set goals for the number of steps taken and the number of body composition measurements taken. On the other hand, when used by local governments or companies, participants are automatically awarded points when they achieve the set goals, such as step goals set in advance according to health issues, number of measurements taken on a body composition monitor, number of logins to a health management site, or participation in a health event. Accumulated points can be exchanged for electronic money or digital gifts, and when used by local governments or corporations, point exchange rules such as exchange rates and prizes can be set as desired.

A membership-based (paid) web service that helps anyone develop healthy habits that can be easily and effortlessly maintained. You can save and manage data measured by body composition monitors and activity monitors, allowing you to check changes in your physical and exercise status and manage your goals.
