To revitalize the areas around major stations in Nagano Prefecture and along the Shinano Railway line, CCC will create spaces for local people, primarily young people such as creators and students, and women, to interact, centering on Karuizawa Bookstore and Karuizawa Commongrounds, which CCC operates in Karuizawa Town, as well as new projects, and will work to promote initiatives that will enable local communities and new communities to work together and influence each other.

(2) Holding events in collaboration with existing facilities along the Shinano Railway Line
Using the new project in Karuizawa as the base for the network, we will work to create a wide-area network in the areas along the Shinano Railway line through collaboration through events.

(3) Creating an advanced wide-area collaboration area for decarbonization through public-private collaboration
We will work with our partners to realize local energy production and consumption initiatives that will optimize the city and region's energy use within the region.

(4) Strengthening secondary transportation
We will continue to secure transportation options and develop a database of travel data, and promote the use of EVs in conjunction with renewable energy initiatives.

(5) Utilizing the database to analyze lifestyle data and consider regional policies and business plans
We will analyze lifestyle data using the databases accumulated in (1) to (4) and use the data in regional policies and business plans.

Following this agreement, Nagano Prefecture and CCC will work together to promote urban development within the prefecture by leveraging Nagano Prefecture's network of local public institutions, various organizations, and companies, as well as CCC's lifestyle content, spatial design, and urban development know-how such as creating hubs and events to form communities, as well as lifestyle data and marketing know-how gained from the shared points service, to create a sustainable circulation of people through collaboration with the local community.
