(Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi; hereinafter referred to as "CCC"), and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Fukudome Akihiro) are pleased to announce that they will be holding the "V POINT x SMBC Ladies Golf Tournament," an official women's professional golf tour sanctioned by the Ladies Professional Golf Association of Japan (JLPGA), at the Murasaki Country Club Sumire Course in Noda City, Chiba Prefecture, over three days from Friday, March 21st to Sunday, March 23rd, 2025.
The tournament name has been changed to "V POINT x SMBC Ladies Golf Tournament" to bring a new style of golf to many people by combining "V POINT," which were created through the integration of points between the CCC Group and the SMBC Group, with the essence of sports - the power to move people's hearts. This tournament will be held for the first time at the Murasaki Country Club Sumire Course as the second event of the 2025 JLPGA Tour. The tournament is hosted by CCC and CCC MK HOLDINGS, with Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation as special sponsor, and a total of 108 players, including top professionals, will compete in a heated battle for a total prize pool of 100 million yen.
Murasaki Country Club Sumire Course is one of Japan's most prestigious membership courses, having opened on April 16, 1961. Despite its challenging course design with a course rating of 75.1, it continues to attract many golfers. Although the design is flat and wide, the cleverly placed giant pine trees create an elegant, Japanese-style landscape. It was the venue for the Japan Open Golf Championship in 2020 and the Japan Women's Open Golf Championship in 2022, and its strategic and beautiful course has become widely known.
Through the heated battles between players putting on their best performances, CCC Group and SMBC hope to bring to everyone the joy of golf and the power of sports to move people's hearts. We aim to make the tournament a beloved event for the local community, and will run an attractive tournament through a variety of events and projects.

(1) After 36 holes, the top 50 players will advance to the final round.
(2) If there are two or more players in first place at the end of the final round, a hole-by-hole playoff will be held at a hole designated by the Competition Committee on the day to determine one winner.
