Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi; hereinafter referred to as "CCC") and its subsidiary Tsutaya Investment (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. have signed a franchise agreement with Ningbo Jiyu Culture Communication Co., Ltd. to open the first TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE in Ningbo, "TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Ningbo K11 Store," on Saturday, December 21, 2024.

The TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Ningbo K11 store will be located on the third floor of Building D of THE PARK by K11 Select, a commercial facility located on the banks of Sanjiangkou, the city's center, at the confluence of three rivers that flow through Ningbo.
Directly connected to Jiangxiaqiao East Station on Subway Line 1, THE PARK by K11 Select aims to create a unique space where limitless creativity and fusion can be felt. We will provide a new entertainment experience while inheriting the three values of "K11" - humanities, art, and nature.

The design concept of the TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Ningbo K11 store is "Poetic Harbor/Poetic aesthetics of the sea and harbor," and it incorporates many elements with a harbor and nautical theme. For example, the texture and form of materials are skillfully utilized, such as the unevenness of a container, flooring that imitates a wooden deck, a ceiling that evokes the structure of a wooden ship, and canvas and rope decorations cleverly incorporated into the counter, to express the historical background of the port city using modern design techniques.
