Stream Co., Ltd. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Katsuhisa Saito; hereinafter "Stream"), CCC MK HOLDINGS Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi; hereinafter "CCCMKHD"), and Sumitomo Mitsui Card Co., Ltd. (Head office: Koto-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yukihiko Onishi; hereinafter "Sumitomo Mitsui Card") have announced that they will be launching a new service called "EC Current ( https://www.ec-current.com/ ) will start a service where you can accumulate and use V POINT.

"EC Current" is a home appliance mail order site that supports customers' comfortable lifestyles with the motto of "better products," "better prices," and "better service."We stock a wide range of products, from digital home appliances such as computers and televisions to household goods and daily necessities, all at prices that satisfy our customers. We also provide various after-sales support, such as long-term warranty services and installation and delivery of large home appliances, so that customers can make purchases with peace of mind. In 2013, we were the first Japanese company to be selected as one of the top five online shops in the world by Google, and have since earned the trust of customers as a pioneer in internet shopping in Japan.

In order to further improve the service of "EC Current", we are now launching a service that allows you to earn and use V POINT. This marks the first time that EC Current has introduced a common points service for shopping points (points earned through shopping, regardless of payment method), and customers will be able to check the number of points they will earn by purchasing the product of their choice and specify the number of points they would like to use when making a purchase on the EC Current site.

Customers who use "EC Current" can earn 1 V POINT for every 200 yen (excluding tax) spent by completing the V POINT redemption procedure when purchasing products on the site. Furthermore, if you pay with a Sumitomo Mitsui Card*, you will also earn V POINT as payment points.

Accumulated points can be used at EC Current, with 1 point equaling 1 yen, and can also be used at approximately 160,000 V POINT partner stores nationwide and approximately 100 million stores worldwide that accept Visa contactless payments.

Stream, CCCMKHD and Sumitomo Mitsui Card will continue to provide services that will please many customers through the V POINT service on EC Current.
