This fair, which serves as a symbol of Artist Cafe Fukuoka's activities, will showcase works that artists have created in collaboration with companies, sell works by Fukuoka-based artists introduced by Fukuoka-based art professionals, and hold workshops that are open to local residents and visitors. Through these programs, we will create opportunities to meet artists who are currently based in Fukuoka and engaged in a wide range of activities.

Furthermore, this fair also places emphasis on the art x business aspects. In today's business world, involvement with art is key to increasing corporate value and generating new innovation. In addition to showcasing the works of artists who have collaborated with companies, the fair will also feature a talk event on practical examples of corporate activities that utilize art. When companies incorporate art, it not only stimulates employee creativity, raises awareness of social issues, and promotes diversity, but also creates brand power and deep engagement with customers. We also aim to create a space where companies can make new encounters with artists and take a step further to explore the possibility of collaboration.

Further details about the programs and other information for the "Artist Cafe Fukuoka Collaboration Fair" will be announced in future press releases, on the official website, and through Artist Cafe Fukuoka's official social media accounts.

Artist Selection

The Artist Cafe Fukuoka Collaboration Fair has three sections: "Collaboration Artists," "Recommended Artists," and "Featured Artists."

・Collaboration Artist
Three selectors worked together with members of Artist Cafe Fukuoka to select seven artists who have a track record of collaborating with companies. Their activities will provide an opportunity for companies to discover the possibilities of collaboration with artists, and for visitors to learn about familiar companies that are incorporating art. These artists provide many insights as examples of the intersection of art and business.

・Recommended artists
Three selectors will recommend and select a total of 11 artists. Each selector utilized their unique perspectives and networks to select these works, which represent the culture and art scene in Fukuoka and its surrounding areas.

・Featured Artist
From among the artists who have worked on a wide range of activities together with Artist Cafe Fukuoka, we have selected one who has been the most active and achieved the most iconic results. Through their creativity and efforts, they will share their progress to date and convey to visitors their expectations for the next developments.

About "Artist Cafe Fukuoka"

Artist Cafe Fukuoka is a hub for artists to grow and interact, run by the city of Fukuoka. By supporting artists' creative activities and connecting art to people and the city, we aim to create a place that will spark a "society where art circulates."

The facility, which occupies a former junior high school, includes a community space where anyone can work or enjoy the cafe, a studio and gallery that can be used for exhibitions and creative work, and a Grand Studio that can accommodate large-scale exhibitions such as installations and group exhibitions. It is also used as a studio and exhibition space for the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum's Artist in Residence program. In addition to holding consultation sessions for artists and events where they can learn and receive information, we also support artists working in a variety of locations and fields by matching artists with corporate projects and running an overseas expansion program that produces artists who will be active on the world stage.
