- Olive LOUNGE Koenji branch will have a SHARE LOUNGE that exudes Koenji-ness -

Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi; hereinafter "CCC") has opened "SHARE LOUNGE Olive LOUNGE Koenji" on the second floor of "Olive LOUNGE Koenji," which opened on Monday, March 3, 2025, operated by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (President and CEO: Fukudome Akihiro; hereinafter "SMBC").

"Olive LOUNGE" is a joint project between SMBC Group and CCC that redefines the Olive strategy promoted by SMBC Group into spatial value by utilizing the know-how of the CCC Group. The first branch, Olive LOUNGE Shibuya Branch, opened in May 2024, and the second branch, Olive LOUNGE Shimotakaido Branch, are new styles of banking that have been well received by a wide range of customers.

SHARE LOUNGE Olive LOUNGE Koenji is located on the second floor of Olive LOUNGE Koenji, which combines a bank, Starbucks, and SHARE LOUNGE. It has approximately 80 seats, including conference rooms and semi-private rooms, and can be used freely as both an office and a cafe. We offer a selection of art and books that allow you to experience the culture that is rooted in Koenji, providing a comfortable space where local residents and visitors to Koenji can relax.

CCC will continue to work with SMBC to expand the development of "Olive LOUNGE," and will also further develop "SHARE LOUNGE" through collaborations with various business types, including the establishment of bookstores.

Features of "SHARE LOUNGE Olive LOUNGE Koenji"

1) Earn 10% V POINT when paying with Olive
When you pay by touching your smartphone with Olive Flexible Pay (credit mode/debit mode) at "SHARE LOUNGE Olive LOUNGE Koenji," you will receive V POINT equivalent to 10% of the payment amount.

2) A calm space that captures the essence of Koenji
The space, based on the warmth of wood and the image color green, has a total of 80 seats in various seating types, including semi-private rooms suitable for concentrated work and conference rooms that can be used for meetings with multiple people.

The library of approximately 400 books, covering topics such as the Chuo Line townscape, manga, music, and work styles, is available for you to browse freely while enjoying a meal or drink inside the store. Additionally, for a limited time during the opening period, there will be a mini corner displaying a selection of books and original goods selected by "Kosugiyu Tonari," a shared space with a public bath located next to Kosugiyu, a long-established public bath in Koenji.

The art in the store was created by artist Shioya Ayumi, who was the manager and illustrator at Kosugiyu before going independent as a painter and is known for his "Sento Zukai" series.You can view original works as well as reproductions of Kosugiyu's original artwork.

In terms of food and beverage options, several craft colas will be available, selected by "CRAFT COLA hour," a fictional select shop that carefully selects craft colas from all over Japan, for those spending time in the lounge. You can mix it with carbonated water, milk, alcoholic drinks, and other drinks available in the lounge to enjoy it to your liking.

3) Holding seminars and talk events related to financial literacy
 We will be holding events that anyone can participate in from time to time, including seminars on financial literacy in collaboration with the SMBC Group and talk events featuring book authors.

In October 2022, the CCC Group and SMBC Group entered into a capital and business alliance with the aim of creating one of Japan's largest payment and points economies, and began offering the "Blue and Yellow V POINT" in April 2024.
CCC has redefined the Olive strategy promoted by the SMBC Group into spatial value, utilizing the know-how of the CCC Group, and is producing the "Olive LOUNGE" as a joint project with the SMBC Group.
