CCCMK Holdings Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takahashi Yoshinori; hereinafter "CCCMKHD") and Sumitomo Mitsui Card Co., Ltd. (Head office: Koto-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Onishi Yukihiko; hereinafter "Sumitomo Mitsui Card") have announced that they will be collaborating with Suntory Beverage Solutions Limited (Head office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Mori Yuji; hereinafter "Suntory") to provide a cashless vending machine app called "Jihampi" (https://www.suntory.co.jp/softdrink/jihanki/jihanpi/We are pleased to announce that the V Points service has been fully launched. Starting in March 2025, it will be available at Jihampi-compatible vending machines nationwide.
"Jihanpi" provided by Suntory is a cashless vending machine app that allows you to make purchases simply by launching the app and tapping it. It can be used at vending machines with the "Pi" logo on the top right. It provides a simple purchasing experience that allows anyone to buy easily and quickly.
The service began in the Hokkaido area in December 2024, but due to the patronage of many customers, Jihampi will be expanded nationwide.
With this nationwide expansion, the V Points service will be fully introduced. Customers who use JiHampi can link their V Points through the "Point Link" feature of the JiHampi app, then touch the app to an eligible JiHampi terminal to earn one V Point per transaction as a shopping point. Furthermore, if you set up your Sumitomo Mitsui Card*1 on the "Money Link" screen, you will also earn V Points as payment points.
Accumulated points can be used at Jihampi, with 1 point equaling 1 yen, and can also be used at approximately 160,000 V Point partner stores nationwide and approximately 100 million Visa member stores worldwide*2. Approximately 150,000 vending machines compatible with "Jihampi" will be deployed by 2025, and the number of locations where V Points can be used in Japan is expected to roughly double.
CCCMKHD and Sumitomo Mitsui Card will continue to provide services that will please many customers through the V Point service at "Jihampi."

*2 For face-to-face payments, this applies to stores that accept Visa touch payments.
