GMO Payment Gateway, Inc. (CEO: Issei Ainoura, hereinafter "GMO-PG"), GMO Payment Services, Inc. (CEO: Tomoyuki Murakami, hereinafter "GMO-PS"), CCC MK HOLDINGS Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi, hereinafter "CCCMKHD"), and Sumitomo Mitsui Card Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Yukihiko Onishi, hereinafter "Sumitomo Mitsui Card") will launch the V POINT service on the BNPL service "Atokara" from Monday, April 7, 2025.

This is the main image of the launch of the V POINT service at Atokara.

1. Purpose of launching the V POINT service

"Atokara" is a BNPL service*1 that GMO-PG, GMO-PS and Sumitomo Mitsui Card began offering on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. The main features of this service are that you can make payments using only your mobile phone number and email address without having to enter credit card information when shopping on apps or online stores, that the entire process from use to billing is completed online, and that it can also be used for face-to-face transactions.

By collaborating with V POINT operated by CCC MK HOLDINGS to launch the V POINT service, we will be able to further improve convenience for customers who use Atokara.

2. Overview of the V POINT Service

If you complete the V POINT redemption procedure at "Atokara", you can use the following two services.

(1) Earn V POINT
If you meet the conditions in the "Atokara" campaign to be held later,
V POINT will be awarded as a bonus*2.
