-CCC produces the first new store in this co-creation project-

Akachan Honpo Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Osaka / CEO: Kenji Ajishi, hereinafter referred to as "Akachan Honpo") and Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo / CEO: Yasunori Takahashi, hereinafter referred to as "CCC") have announced that Akachan Honpo aims to achieve its corporate message of "Bringing joy to parenting."As part of efforts to realize "Akachan Honpo," the two companies are developing a co-creation project. The third store in the co-creation project and the first new store to open will be Akachan Honpo Lalaport Anjo, which will open on Friday, April 18, 2025.

About the co-creation project between CCC and Akachan Honpo

Through collaboration between Akachan Honpo and CCC, the two companies have formulated a new store concept: "A place where important things in life with a baby come together," aiming to create a comfortable, safe space where people can gather, as is necessary for each child-rearing parent and their daily life, in a society where diversity in child-rearing is accepted.

As a first step towards achieving this goal, we renovated part of the Akachan Honpo LaLaport Izumi store in February 2024, and then completely renovated our second store, Akachan Honpo LaLaport Shinmisato store.

As a result of the renovation carried out through the co-creation project, customer satisfaction at Akachan Honpo LaLaport Izumi store has increased by 10% compared to before the renovation (※1).

At Akachan Honpo LaLaport Shinmisato, the already popular baby room has been further improved, resulting in a 5% increase in customer satisfaction (※2) when using the baby room.

About "Akachan Honpo Lalaport Anjo Store"

For Akachan Honpo's third store, Lalaport Anjo, CCC supervised the spatial design, following on from the first and second stores. Utilizing CCC's store-making know-how, the store created a sales floor that is easy for customers to understand, including fixtures that display products in an attractive manner, in-store signs that guide customers, and product appeal using signage. In addition, the product lineup offers enhanced suggestions for various situations in life with a baby, such as travel, outings, relaxation at home, food education, and gifts.

In addition, in the renovations carried out so far as part of this project, we have also introduced the "Green Plaza," a space for play and learning that has been well received by customers. Akachan Honpo LaLaport Anjo store has rest and dining areas where you can spend time with your baby, allowing you to relax between shopping trips.

In addition, there is also a "baby room" equipped with a locked nursing room, diaper changing station, and space for preparing formula. Here we display a message board to support moms and dads who struggle every day to raise their children.

Akachan Honpo and CCC have been promoting this co-creation project based on the comprehensive planning capabilities that CCC has cultivated, including creating comfortable spaces, store management know-how, and system development. Through the development of the three stores that were undertaken as part of a co-creation project, Akachan Honpo will continue to strive to realize its goal of being "a place where important things in life with a baby come together."
