(Head office: Koto-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Yukihiko Onishi; hereinafter referred to as "Sumitomo Mitsui Card") will launch a service on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, which will allow customers to accumulate and use V POINT at 74 restaurants operated by Asakuma, including "Steak no Asakuma."

Asakuma is a restaurant chain that is celebrating its 76th anniversary this year. With the philosophy of "contributing to society through food," the company operates 74 stores, mainly in the Tokai and Kanto regions. We operate a variety of businesses, including the steak and hamburger restaurant "Steak no Asakuma," "Motsuyaki Sakaba Ebisu San," and "Wayang Bali," and have received the patronage of many customers for many years. In particular, "Steak no Asakuma" offers a salad bar with about 45 different items, including desserts and hot dishes, that accompany the steak or hamburger, and has become known among customers as "Asakuma" on special occasions.

Through this initiative, customers of "Steak Asakuma," "Motsuyaki Sakaba Ebisu San," and "Wayang Bali" can earn 1 V POINT for every 200 yen (tax included) spent by presenting a V POINT card*2 when paying in-store. Furthermore, if you pay with a Sumitomo Mitsui Card*3, you will also earn V POINT as payment points.
Accumulated points can be used for in-store purchases at a rate of 1 point = 1 yen, and can also be used at approximately 160,000 V POINT partner stores nationwide and approximately 100 million Visa member stores worldwide*4.

In addition, to commemorate the launch of Asakuma's V POINT service, we will be holding a campaign where you can earn double V POINT. Between Sunday, June 1st and Monday, June 30th, if you load the relevant V CARD coupon into the V POINT app or other app and present a card that earns V POINT, you will earn double the V POINT as shopping points. During this period, you can double the points as many times as you like, so please take this opportunity to enjoy a meal at our store.

Asakuma, CCCMKHD and Sumitomo Mitsui Card will continue to provide services that will please many customers through the V POINT service at Steak Asakuma, Motsuyaki Bar Ebisu San and Wayang Bali.
