- V POINT service can now be implemented in a short period of time -

Netstars Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Tsuyoshi Li; hereinafter referred to as "Netstars"), CCCMK Holdings Co., Ltd. (Head office: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture; Representative Director, President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi; hereinafter referred to as "CCCMKHD"), and Sumitomo Mitsui Card Co., Ltd. (Head office: Koto-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Yukihiko Onishi; hereinafter referred to as "Sumitomo Mitsui Card") are pleased to announce that they have added a feature that allows customers to earn and use V POINT to "StarPay," a multi-cashless payment solution operated by Netstars.

"StarPay" is a multi-cashless payment solution that allows you to apply for and manage various cashless payment services, including QR codes, credit cards, and electronic money, all in one place. The service supports over 50 payment methods both domestically and internationally, and can be implemented in a wide range of industries and business types, from face-to-face payments at stores to online payments for vending machines, ticket vending machines, coin lockers, and apps and game charges.

With the addition of the ability to accumulate and use V POINT to StarPay, companies wishing to introduce the V POINT service can quickly implement it and provide it to their customers by applying through the StarPay website. In line with the increasing diversity of cashless payment methods available today, the ability to introduce the V POINT service on the same terminal will increase convenience for businesses and also meet customers' needs for cashless payment and point usage.

Customers who use V POINT can earn V POINT by presenting a card that earns V POINT*2 at StarPay-enabled stores*1, and can earn V POINT according to the amount spent, and can also use the accumulated V POINT when making payments.

Netstars, CCCMKHD and Sumitomo Mitsui Card will work to expand the number of companies that adopt the V POINT service through "StarPay," while also expanding opportunities to use V POINT, and will continue to provide services that will please many customers.

*1 This applies to stores that have introduced "StarPay" and have requested to introduce the V POINT service.
*2 Applies to Mobile V Card, T Card, V POINT Card with payment function, and V POINT Card with character design.

V POINT is a shared points service provided by an alliance of numerous partner companies. Customers can earn V POINT when shopping at 160,000 V POINT partner stores and online services using cards and apps that allow them to earn V POINT. The V POINT you earn can be used at 160,000 V POINT partner stores nationwide, 7.5 million stores in Japan, and 100 million Visa member stores worldwide*3, with 1 point = 1 yen.

*3 For face-to-face payments, this applies to stores that accept Visa touch payments.
