- Earn and use V POINT at over 400 drugstores, mainly in the Tohoku region! -

CCC MK HOLDINGS Co., Ltd. (Head office: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture; Representative Director, President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi; hereinafter referred to as "CCCMKHD") and Sumitomo Mitsui Card Co., Ltd. (Head office: Koto-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Onishi Yukihiko; hereinafter referred to as "Sumitomo Mitsui Card") will launch a service on Monday, June 23, 2025, that will allow customers to accumulate and use V POINT at "Yakuodo," a drugstore operated by Yakodo Co., Ltd. (Head office: Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture; Representative Director, President and CEO: Saigo Koichi; hereinafter referred to as "Yakuodo").

Yakodo is a community-based drugstore chain with over 400 stores, mainly in the Tohoku region. Since our founding in 1978, we have been handling a wide range of products, from pharmaceuticals to daily necessities and food, contributing to the beauty, health and prosperity of the local community. We will open our first store in the Kanto region in April 2025, providing convenient and familiar stores to more people in more regions.

As part of this initiative, customers of Yakodo can earn 1 V POINT for every 100 yen (excluding tax) spent by presenting a V POINT card*1 when paying in-store. Furthermore, if you pay with a Sumitomo Mitsui Card*2, you will also earn V POINT as payment points.

Accumulated points can be used for payments at Yakodo, with 1 point equaling 1 yen, and can also be used at approximately 160,000 V POINT partner stores nationwide and approximately 100 million Visa member stores worldwide*3.

CCCMKHD and Sumitomo Mitsui Card will continue to provide services that will please many customers through Yakodo's V POINT service.

*1 Applies to Mobile V CARDs, T-CARDs, V POINT-CARDs with payment functionality, and V POINT-CARDs with character designs.
*2 Applies to credit cards that earn V POINT. For details, please check the Sumitomo Mitsui Card website.
*3 For face-to-face payments, this applies to stores that accept Visa touch payments.
