CCC MK HOLDINGS Co., Ltd.(Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takahashi Yoshinori; hereinafter referred to as "CCCMKHD") will launch "V Everyone's Ethical Food LAB" (hereinafter referred to as "V Everyone's Ethical Food LAB") in March 2021, a co-creation platform that utilizes V's data and assets to think about and take action on ethical food actions that lead to the global issue of "sustainable food" through repeated dialogue with stakeholders with a wide range of knowledge across industries, primarily consumers, to address issues that would be difficult to solve by a single region or company alone. https://ethicalfoodlab.tsite.jp/) is currently underway. We are pleased to announce that the "Ethical Food Standards" published by "V Everyone's Ethical Food LAB" have been revised.

"V Everyone's Ethical Food LAB" has published the "Ethical Food Standards," which are standards created to verify whether companies and products have ethical considerations for the environment, animals, people and society, and politics.

In January 2025, we began demonstrating the sale of products that meet the Ethical Food Standards through supermarkets and other outlets, and through these efforts we have engaged in dialogue with many food manufacturers. Based on these results and opinions, as well as the growing trend towards ethical food in Japan, we have revised the Ethical Food Standards. The main points of this revision include incorporating ideas based on the actual situation of companies working to achieve nature positivity, as well as positioning "plant-based" and "upcycled" foods as ethical products in response to international trends.
