Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture; President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi; hereinafter referred to as "CCC") has been commissioned by Shiwa Town, Shiwa District, Iwate Prefecture (hereinafter referred to as "Shiwa Town") to provide support for the creation of a basic concept for the redevelopment of a hot spring resort park.
CCC deeply sympathizes with the "Azumane Area Branding Vision" formulated by Shiwa Town in fiscal year 2024 and its vision for the future as "a town where people grow with the forest." Utilizing its experience and knowledge in community development to date, CCC will create a basic plan for the redevelopment of the hot spring resort park that makes the most of the town's appeal.
In its "Support for the Creation of Basic Concepts for the Redevelopment of Hot Spring Resort Parks" project, CCC will specifically be involved in the creation of a basic concept (draft) for the redevelopment of hot spring resort parks, including on-site surveys and interviews of existing facilities, the creation of personas using data, and the establishment of concepts and indicators for the redevelopment, as well as the creation of a public tender for operators (draft) that outlines the required standards for selecting an operator after the redevelopment based on that basic concept (draft). The facilities covered are La France Hot Springs, the Training Industry Hall, and Quapark La France (the park area), and the aim is to create a lively space where local residents and visitors can gather, interact, and stay.
CCC has been creating excitement through the operation of TSUTAYA, TSUTAYA BOOKS, and public facilities. In this initiative, we will utilize this knowledge to create a space that is loved by local people, for the community, and makes use of local resources, with the aim of creating a sustainable community.
