- Supporting the creation of an area platform aimed at further promoting urban development through "public-private partnerships and academia" -
CCC (Head office: Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture; President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi; hereinafter referred to as "CCC") has been commissioned by Kasukabe City, Saitama Prefecture (hereinafter referred to as "Kasukabe City") to support the creation of an area platform around Kasukabe Station.
In 2021, Kasukabe City formulated the "Kasukabe City Central Business District Urban Development Plan," which outlines basic policies and initiatives for promoting urban development through "public-private partnerships and academia," triggered by the continuous elevated intersection project around Kasukabe Station. To promote this, we are currently working on creating the "Kasukabe Walkable Guidelines," which will set out details on the reorganization and utilization policy for public spaces, primarily street spaces, with the aim of increasing pedestrian mobility and comfort during stays.
Based on the aims of the Kasukabe City Downtown Urban Development Plan and the Kasukabe Walkable Guidelines, CCC will promote collaboration between private businesses, students, and local residents, primarily around Kasukabe Station, through study sessions and questionnaire surveys, and will support the creation of an independent, self-sustaining area platform in which stakeholders can take the initiative in urban development and solving local issues. In the medium to long term, we will support the creation of local value unique to Kasukabe City by utilizing the knowledge of database marketing, comfortable space design, events, etc. that the CCC Group has cultivated throughout the country in order to create a sustainable lively atmosphere around Kasukabe Station.
CCC will continue to create new experiential value by collaborating with various companies and local governments involved in creating local vitality.
