- Arakawa Ward's first SHARE LOUNGE opens in a machiya townhouse -

Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi; hereinafter "CCC") has opened "SHARE LOUNGE Olive LOUNGE Machiya" on the second floor of "Olive LOUNGE Machiya," which will be opened by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (President and CEO: Fukudome Akihiro; hereinafter "SMBC") on Monday, July 14, 2025.

"Olive LOUNGE" is a joint project between SMBC Group and CCC that redefines the Olive strategy promoted by SMBC Group into spatial value by utilizing the know-how of the CCC Group. Olive LOUNGE, which opened its first branch in Shibuya in May 2024, has been supported by a wide range of people as a new type of banking, and has since opened branches in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kanagawa prefectures, with this being its eighth branch.

SHARE LOUNGE Olive LOUNGE Machiya is located on the second floor of Olive LOUNGE Machiya, which combines a bank, Starbucks, and SHARE LOUNGE, and has 69 comfortable seats suitable for a variety of occasions, including work, coffee, and reading. As a community spot in the city, it will provide a comfortable space for both residents and visitors.

CCC will continue to work with SMBC to expand the development of "Olive LOUNGE," and will also further develop "SHARE LOUNGE" through collaborations with various business types, including the establishment of bookstores.

2. A calming space with a gray and wood grain theme
We have 69 seats available in a relaxing space with the warmth of wood. For business people living in the Machiya area, which has good access to major stations in the city center, we offer a wide range of semi-private booths where you can concentrate on your work, as well as open seating where you can easily hold online meetings.
The fully glassed-in interior of the shop is a pleasant, open space, and with the Toden Arakawa Line Machiya Station below, you can feel a nostalgic atmosphere as you gaze upon the cute matchbox-shaped train.

Additionally, as a community spot in Machiya that offers a full range of services for families with children, you can relax with your children in the cafe seats, and there are also student plans available, making it a space where not only business people but also students can study in peace. The store also offers a wide range of books and magazines that customers can freely choose from, including books by authors and famous people with ties to Arakawa Ward, as well as books on business and financial life for creative workers, start-ups, and other diverse working styles, as well as gourmet and local guides that are perfect for a change of pace.

3. Holding seminars and talk events related to financial literacy
We will be holding events that anyone can participate in from time to time, including seminars on financial literacy in collaboration with the SMBC Group and talk events featuring book authors.

In October 2022, the CCC Group and the SMBC Group entered into a capital and business alliance with the aim of creating one of Japan's largest payment and points economies, and began offering "V POINT" in April 2024.
CCC has redefined the Olive strategy promoted by the SMBC Group into spatial value, utilizing the know-how of the CCC Group, and is producing the "Olive LOUNGE" as a joint project with the SMBC Group.
