Comment from President and CEO Yasunori Takahashi

The CCC Group has been constantly updating its store-based spatial experiences and spatial business practices. As innovations such as AI advance rapidly, people's sensibilities and the value they place on real spaces are also undergoing major changes. In such an era, we believe it will be more important than ever to create new spatial value by combining art that expresses human sensibilities with technology that updates real spatial experiences.

With an eye to this future, it will be a great help to CCC to have someone like Hiroshi Sugiyama, who has exceptional sensibilities and a wealth of experience in creating spaces that combine art and technology, join us.

We are truly pleased that we were contacted and that you readily accepted our offer.

We hope that through the wide range of advice we can receive from Mr. Sugiyama, we will be able to further evolve the creation of spatial experience value at CCC.

Comment from Mr. Hiroshi Sugiyama

Culture Convenience Club and TSUTAYA BOOKS have always been special to me, and I have deep respect and affection for them. It has been a place that connects art and culture to life and enriches our daily lives, and has given us much inspiration and learning. I am truly delighted to be working with CCC.

We hope to utilize the experience we have cultivated across art and technology to conceive new urban developments and spatial experiences together with CCC, fostering a richness that can be shared across generations. By creating new experiential value and evolving the city itself into a stage where people's memories and sensibilities intersect, we hope to realize a future where culture and life blend more naturally and rich communities are formed. It is with great joy and excitement that I look forward to embarking on this challenge together with CCC.
