Jimoty Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takahiro Kato; hereinafter "Jimoty") and Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture; President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi; hereinafter "CCC") will open the "Jimoty Spot Kobe Jamesyama Store" in Tarumi-ku, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture on Friday, October 31, 2025, as the first step in their collaboration based on a memorandum of understanding concluded in July 2025. This store will be the first public-private partnership reuse center in Hyogo Prefecture.
Jimoty and CCC are jointly promoting the development of "Jimoty Spots" as a new initiative to contribute to solving local community issues and revitalizing communities. Jimoty Spot is a service that allows people in the local community to easily share items that are no longer needed but are still usable. Anyone who wishes to bring an item can simply bring it to the store and have it easily donated to someone who needs it. Additionally, those wishing to take over can search for the item on the local information site "Jimoty" and pick it up at the store to be matched.
Through this system, the two companies will not only provide reuse centers, but will also jointly develop a variety of initiatives to connect people with the local community, such as holding events for local residents and revitalizing the community. Additionally, CCC and its group companies have joined the Jimoty Spot franchise, aiming to expand the reuse culture in the region by taking on the challenge of developing and opening new business formats that are not limited to traditional store formats.

Jimoty Spot Kobe Jamesyama Store is a public-private partnership reuse hub that will open based on the reuse agreement concluded between Jimoty and Kobe City in May 2023. It will be operated in cooperation with CCC, which creates new value in a variety of fields and develops solutions businesses that aim to solve problems by utilizing intellectual capital.

How Jimoty Spot works
At this store, you can bring in still-usable furniture, home appliances, children's items, leisure equipment, clothing, tableware, books, etc. Items brought in can be purchased and picked up by simply visiting the store, allowing users to easily participate in reuse activities. Also, there is no need to make a reservation in advance to bring in unwanted items.

Results of waste reduction efforts at reuse centers operated by Jimoty
To date, Jimoty operates Jimoty Spots in 20 municipalities, including stores that have not yet opened. In the first half of 2025, a total of approximately 500,000 items were reused at locations across the country, resulting in a waste reduction of 1,600 tons*.
