Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Executive Officer, President and CEO: Atsushi Nakajima), Aqua Ignis Co., Ltd. (Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Tetsuya Tachibana), and Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture; Representative Director, President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi) will hold the grand opening of a new commercial facility, "Karuizawa T-SITE," at the north exit of Karuizawa Station in March 2026. Directly connected to Karuizawa Station, the facility is based on the concept of "a gateway that exudes and exudes Shinshu, stimulating curiosity." It will house approximately 16 stores, including restaurants and retail outlets where visitors can experience the charms of Shinshu, as well as hot spring facilities and accommodation facilities to soothe the fatigue of travel, and restaurants opening for the first time in the prefecture.

The site where Karuizawa T-SITE is located is owned by Shinano Railway Co., Ltd. and utilizes the former Shinetsu Main Line tracks, which were abandoned when the Hokuriku Shinkansen opened in 1997. Mitsubishi Estate will lease the site and develop a commercial facility directly connected to the Karuizawa Station free passageway, while Aqua Ignis and Culture Convenience Club will operate hot spring facilities, accommodation facilities, restaurants, and retail stores. Through Karuizawa T-SITE, we will work to promote collaboration with the local community, promote the appeal of Karuizawa and the entire Shinshu region, and contribute to its revitalization.

As an open facility connecting the town and station, we will promote interaction within the Shinshu area, develop diverse and unique new content, provide new value as a base for staying, and strengthen our waiting and information dissemination functions. Karuizawa T-SITE aims to be a facility filled with experiences that will stimulate the five senses of adults.

The event will bring together gourmet food that beautifully blends into everyday life, including popular sweets that stimulate the senses and the "Shinshu Experience Area" where you can enjoy flavors made with local ingredients. In addition, many renowned restaurants showcasing the skills of their artisans will be opening, including Torimachi and Sushiya Ono, which will be opening in Karuizawa for the first time, creating a lineup that will "tickle" the appetites of visitors.
