-An underground space where you can feel the connection between nature and the local community-

Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture; President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi), together with franchise member Koura Oil Co., Ltd. (Head office: Osaka, Osaka Prefecture; President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi), has opened its fourth store in the Setagaya area, "SHARE LOUNGE Komazawa-Daigaku Ekimae," on the first basement floor of "KOMAZAWA Park Quarter," a new commercial facility that will open in front of Komazawa-Daigaku Station on the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

The area around Komazawa-daigaku Station is home to Komazawa University, which has approximately 14,000 students, and is a residential area with many families and working people living there. Komazawa Olympic Park has sports facilities, a dog run, and an event space, and is a popular place for local residents to relax.

Taking advantage of its location adjacent to Komazawa Olympic Park, SHARE LOUNGE Komazawa Daigaku Ekimae has adopted a spatial design based on the themes of "komorebi" (viewing sunlight) and "greenery."

Taking into account the characteristics of the area, the store is designed to cater to a variety of situations, including a cafe space perfect for reading or chatting, and semi-private rooms/booth seats for spending private time, making it a space that a wide range of users can use freely depending on their mood and purpose. It can also be used as a study space for students, a workspace for business people, or a place for families to relax.

Features of "SHARE LOUNGE Komazawa Daigaku Station"

■ Underground space design that allows you to feel the connection between nature and the local community
Although SHARE LOUNGE Komazawa-Daigaku Ekimae is located on the first basement floor, the walls are finished with plasterwork that evokes the image of geological strata and botanical art, creating a calming space where you can feel the breath of nature. Furthermore, as part of the "KOMAZAWA Park Quarter," the entire facility was designed around the themes of "komorebi" (reflection from sunlight filtering through the air) and "greenery," the lounge also incorporates plants and komorebi (reflection from sunlight filtering through the air) lighting, creating an open feeling and the warmth of nature that makes you forget you're underground.

In the future, we plan to work with tenants such as adjacent event spaces to plan and host events in which local creators and residents can participate, thereby fostering connections with the Komazawa area and serving as a community-based exchange hub.

■ A book library that lets you experience the local Komazawa area
The book library, which has been selected by a former bookstore employee from a bookstore that was long loved in the Komazawa area but sadly closed, features themes unique to Komazawa, such as "local" and "Hakone Ekiden."In particular, Komazawa University is known as a regular participant in the Hakone Ekiden every year, and is a source of pride for the local community. We will create an opportunity for visitors to encounter works by authors with ties to the area, as well as books that will help them learn more about and fall in love with the town of Komazawa.

We also stock a wide range of books, including design and art books for creative workers, business and lifestyle magazines, and gourmet and local guides that are perfect for a change of pace. Users can freely pick up and read books, and we aim to create a space that stimulates intellectual curiosity.
