Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture; President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi; hereinafter "CCC") has opened "SHARE LOUNGE Olive LOUNGE Shinjuku-dori" on the B1F and 2F floors of "Olive LOUNGE Shinjuku-dori," which will be opened on Monday, December 8, 2025, by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (President and CEO: Akihiro Fukudome; hereinafter "SMBC"), a subsidiary of Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, Inc. (President and Group CEO: Tatsuru Nakajima; hereinafter the groups are collectively referred to as "SMBC Group").
Olive LOUNGE is a joint project between SMBC Group and CCC that redefines the Olive strategy promoted by SMBC Group into spatial value by utilizing the know-how of the CCC Group. Olive LOUNGE, which opened its first branch in Shibuya in May 2024, has been supported by a wide range of people as a new type of banking, and has since opened branches in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kanagawa prefectures, with this being its 10th branch.
Olive LOUNGE Shinjuku Dori will offer a new experience unlike any other Olive LOUNGE, featuring art exhibitions and an interactive space with a motif of everyday life that will make Olive feel more familiar to everyone. CCC produced the entire space, aiming to create a place where financial services feel familiar.
SHARE LOUNGE Olive LOUNGE Shinjuku-dori is located on the basement and second floors of Olive LOUNGE Shinjuku-dori, which combines a bank, Starbucks, and SHARE LOUNGE. It offers a variety of seating options, including window seats where you can watch people going about Shinjuku, single seats perfect for individual work, and sofa seats that can be used by multiple people. There are approximately 140 seats available. The basement floor is directly accessible from the subway station concourse, and is well suited to the fast-paced lifestyle of Shinjuku, where requests for a SHARE LOUNGE store were highest.
Going forward, we will continue to expand the development of "Olive LOUNGE" together with SMBC, and will further develop "SHARE LOUNGE" through collaborations with various business types, including the addition of bookstores.
