(Headquarters: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture; Representative Director, President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi; hereinafter referred to as "CCCMK Holdings") conducted a "Korean Drama Survey" targeting 2,046 female V members from Friday, November 7th to Thursday, November 13th, 2025.
Based on the results of this survey, BBM and CCCMK Holdings are collaborating to develop a free video streaming service called "V FAST Channel" (http://vfastch.tsite.jpThe Korean Wave Channel on the platform will be broadcasting special programs based on the opinions of Korean drama fans from Monday, December 22, 2025 to Sunday, January 11, 2026, over the New Year's holiday period. This is the first time that the V FAST channel has taken the initiative to incorporate the real voices of V members into program planning.

Approximately 50% of Korean drama fans watch Korean dramas for "more than 5 hours a week"!
When V members who answered "I regularly watch Korean dramas" were asked about the amount of time they spend watching Korean dramas, 47.3% (※1), or roughly half, answered that they watch "more than five hours a week."Additionally, 86.7% of the total respondents (※2) watch Korean dramas for "more than one hour per week," indicating that they enjoy Korean dramas on a daily basis.

The most popular Korean drama genre is the classic "romantic comedy," followed by "period dramas" and "revenge stories."
Next, we asked about their favorite genre of Korean dramas, with the top answer being "romantic comedies (73.7%)," followed by "period dramas (48.9%)" and "revenge stories (41.1%)."Romantic comedy, a staple of Korean dramas, is a genre that is popular with a wide range of generations. Stories that mix romance with laughter and empathy tend to be watched as a way to relax and change your mood, and appear to be highly popular.
The actor who was ranked number one as "someone to support" was Park Seo-joon!
Next, we asked respondents which of the 10 famous actors active in Korean dramas they thought was the one they could support. The results were: 1st place: Park Seo-joon (45.3%), 2nd place: Park Bo-gum (29.8%), and 3rd place: Park Hyung-sik (28.8%). Park Seo-joon, who was chosen as the top, has played a wide range of roles from romantic comedies to action movies, and has captivated fans with his friendly smile and overwhelming acting skills. In recent years, her appearances in international productions have been a hot topic, and she has been attracting attention for her activities that go beyond the boundaries of Korean dramas.

Next, we asked participants to give their free response on the question, "Which of the masterpieces you have watched was the most popular?" Based on the results of this survey, the V FAST Channel's "Korean Wave Channel" will be broadcasting a special three-week "Korean Drama Festival with Your Favorite Actor" from Monday, December 22, 2025 to Sunday, January 11, 2026, featuring works starring actors who received votes as "recommended actors," focusing on the popular "romantic comedy" and "period drama" genres.
