Explore Ogasawara with Toei Transportation! "Friends of Ogasawara" Stamp Rally Overview
To coincide with spring break, when opportunities for travel and outings increase across the country, we will be holding the "Explore Ogasawara on Toei Transportation! 'Friends of Ogasawara' Stamp Rally," which will take you to spots associated with Ogasawara where you can encounter the island's rare creatures and local products, from "Ogasawara Day" on Sunday, February 8, 2026, through Tuesday, March 31 of the same year.
This stamp rally will take you to 11 designated spots, including a zoo and aquarium that houses Ogasawara's endemic species, shops selling Ogasawara products, and Toei subway stations. By doing so, you can feel like you've taken a casual train trip to Ogasawara, a place that normally requires a 24-hour one-way boat trip.
By using Toei Transportation to visit zoos, botanical gardens, aquariums, shops, and other attractions along the route and collecting stamps, participants will meet Ogasawara's "friends," and the aim is for each participant to develop an interest in and affection for Ogasawara.

Ogasawara Village aims to create an island that people who share the values of tourism in Ogasawara and who love Ogasawara will want to visit again and again, and has set out its tourism promotion vision, "Ogasawara SMILE Tourism," which outlines the direction for tourism promotion over the next 10 years. This vision was formulated by Ogasawara Village after extensive discussions with the Ogasawara Village Tourism Association, Ogasawara Hahajima Tourism Association, Ogasawara Whale Watching Association, and Ogasawara Village Tourism Bureau, and by compiling opinions from related government agencies and various organizations that have supported Ogasawara's tourism industry and natural environment conservation.
From the beginning to the end of the trip, we aim to create a tourist destination (Tourism) that brings smiles to the faces of visitors, villagers, and nature alike (SMILE) by allowing people to spend a relaxing and healing time (Slow) and cherishing encounters with people (Meet), while also interacting with the island's rich nature and precious creatures (Ecotourism).

"Ogasawara DAY," which is held in Takeshiba on the day the stamp rally begins, began in 2013 as an event to share "a day that makes you want to come back" with former Ogasawara islanders, people who have visited the island, and all those who love Ogasawara. Every year, a variety of content is prepared that allows visitors to experience Ogasawara from various perspectives, including nature, history, culture, and tourism, and it is loved by many people as a special day that brings them closer to the island.

Ogasawara Lab, a joint project between the Ogasawara Village Tourism Bureau and CCCMKHD, aims to transform Ogasawara, a World Natural Heritage site that Japan is proud of, from a place that needs to be protected to a community where new things are born and nurtured. This is a co-education project based on the concept of "growing the island, nurturing its people, and nurturing the future" where residents, islanders, and ambassadors come together to "growing the island, nurturing its people, and nurturing the future."
CCCMKHD, the Ogasawara Tourism Bureau, and Ogasawara Village will continue to explore forms of tourism that allow residents and islanders to learn and grow together.
