Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi, hereinafter "CCC") and Sweetspot (Representative: Kim Jong-soo, hereinafter "Sweetspot"), which develops pop-up and commercial real estate businesses in South Korea, have concluded a basic agreement with the aim of establishing a medium- to long-term collaborative system for the development of IP content and pop-up spaces that connect Japan and South Korea.
Sweetspot is a South Korean company that provides end-to-end support for the entire spatial experience process, from planning and managing pop-up stores to data-driven marketing. With a cumulative track record of managing over 8,700 events, the company is a leader in the pop-up content sector in the Korean market, operating the pop-up information platform "POPGA" and the pop-up-dedicated space brand "Stage X".
Through this agreement, CCC and Sweetspot will combine their respective spatial design capabilities, content planning expertise, and marketing knowledge to jointly develop pop-ups and promotions that span both Japan and South Korea. Sweetspot will support Korean brands entering the Japanese market, and CCC will support the Korean expansion of Japanese IP content, aiming to create new customer touchpoints in both markets.

Through this agreement, both companies will combine CCC's long-standing expertise in lifestyle proposals and spatial/experiential value in Japan with Sweetspot's pop-up operation infrastructure and marketing capabilities utilizing space, media, and data. This will provide brands and IP content with continued opportunities to enter both Japan and Korea, and promote the expansion of cross-border content experiences.
