Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture; President and CEO: Takanori Takahashi; hereinafter referred to as "CCC") has been selected as the designated manager of the public multi-purpose facility "Hitomachi Mirai Sozo Station (nickname: "Shirafuru")" in Shirakawa City, Fukushima Prefecture (Mayor: Kazuo Suzuki).
"Shirafuru" is a facility that combines functions such as "creating a sense of purpose," "childcare support," "health promotion," "social interaction," and "public-private partnership," based on the concept of "a relaxing space where everyone's smiles connect" where anyone can easily drop by.
The name combines "Shirakawa" and "Furu" (meaning "full" or "overflowing"), reflecting the hope that it will become a place where citizens and visitors can feel fulfilled in both mind and body, and where smiles and connections can spread.
As a community manager connecting people, CCC will be responsible for operating the "Lifelong Learning Center," "Citizen Exchange Space," and "Starbucks" within this facility. Going forward, we will create vibrancy in the community and promote diverse interactions through the planning and hosting of events such as talk shows and markets. We aim to contribute to creating new attractions for Shirakawa City, fostering a better future for its citizens and becoming a hub for a city where everyone can continue to live comfortably.
