Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi) and W-eave LLC (Headquarters: Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Representative Partner: Emiko Otaka) have decided to cancel the outdoor festival "PLACE 2026," which was scheduled to be held in Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture on Sunday, September 20, 2026, due to inclement weather preventing the completion of the setup. Please note that the event will not be postponed or rescheduled for this fiscal year.

We had been making preparations for the event, but since Thursday, September 17th, weather conditions have included strong winds and high wave warnings. Due to the strong winds, we were unable to carry out the setup work, and therefore were unable to erect the stage and roof. Without a roof, sound and lighting equipment cannot be used during rainfall, making it impossible to safely hold the performance. Furthermore, bad weather is also expected on the scheduled date. Therefore, prioritizing the safety of all attendees, performers, vendors, staff, and other related parties, we have decided to cancel the event on Friday, September 18, 2026.

"PLACE" has been held with the aim of creating a space where people can connect with each other and with their communities through music, food, local culture, and more. We sincerely apologize for the great inconvenience caused to everyone who was looking forward to attending the event, as well as to the performers, vendors, and all those involved who cooperated in making the event possible.

Please note that admission to this event is free, therefore, ticket refunds will not be issued.
