—Daikanyama Tsutaya Bookstore to open a limited-time pop-up store at "HOUSE VISION 2013 TOKYO EXHIBITION"—
Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as "CCC"), which operates Daikanyama TSUTAYA BOOKS, and Tokyo R Real Estate (Open A Co., Ltd.: Masataka Baba / Speak Co., Ltd.: Atsumi Hayashi and Hiroya Yoshizato) are proposing the "House for Editing".
People choose books, movies, and music according to their preferences, and create their own personal style.
We foresee a time when the right to edit one's own living space will shift to each individual.
This time, through a collaboration with Tokyo R Real Estate, a leader in renovation projects, we propose a quintessential example of a "home that users can freely customize."
By breaking down each individual component or material that makes up a house, as well as their combinations and processes, and by rethinking space as a tool for editing, we will create an exhibition house that gives visitors the realization that "homes can be edited more freely."
Please come to the venue and experience the full-scale proposals for yourself.
[Tokyo R Real Estate and TSUTAYA BOOKS (CCC) are co-authoring and releasing a book.]
To coincide with the exhibition, Tokyo R Real Estate and TSUTAYA BOOKS will publish a book co-authored by them.
This book is a catalog of "home editing materials" for an era where "the right to edit one's home shifts to the homeowner."
This book is packed with tips for redecorating your home.

[Daikanyama TSUTAYA BOOKS to open a limited-time pop-up shop at "HOUSE VISION 2013 TOKYO EXHIBITION"]
Daikanyama TSUTAYA BOOKS will be opening a pop-up shop for a limited time in the shared facilities of "HOUSE VISION 2013 TOKYO EXHIBITION".
Based on the theme of HOUSE VISION, which revolves around the keyword "housing," we will be selling approximately 3,000 books selected by the concierges of Daikanyama TSUTAYA BOOKS.
In addition to a selection of architecture books, this original curated collection combines lifestyle themes such as "travel," "literature," "car life," "cooking," and "art" to re-examine "home" from a different perspective.
During the event, a Starbucks event truck will be set up in the plaza, where visitors can enjoy books and coffee.
We will also be creating a Book & Cafe within the exhibition venue.
What is HOUSE VISION 2013 TOKYO EXHIBITION?
"Visualizing a new industrial vision"
HOUSE VISION 2013 TOKYO EXHIBITION
HOUSE VISION – A project that envisions "homes" as crossroads of diverse industries: Let's build homes with new common sense.
HOUSE VISION aims to awaken consciousness.
The future of energy, transportation, and home appliances, as well as the forms of communities and families,
The services and forms of fulfillment are all condensed and expressed within the concrete object of "home."
This will create connections between companies, between companies and consumers, and between creators and society.
We want to create an effective opportunity to stimulate the awakening of new industries.
HOUSE VISION 2013 TOKYO EXHIBITION aims to disseminate a "new common sense" to a wider audience, and to accelerate the improvement of "housing literacy"—that is, the ability of those who receive this "new common sense" to realize a home that suits their lifestyle by effectively utilizing experts.
