- Summary of currently known unauthorized login incidents -

We are pleased to announce that an unauthorized login attempt by an unauthorized person has occurred on the "T-SITE" operated by Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd.
We would like to report the details of the unauthorized login incidents that have been identified so far as follows:

1. Background
On March 27, 2013, we received an inquiry from a customer reporting that they had a history of T-POINT usage that they did not recognize. We immediately suspended the relevant service and conducted an investigation in collaboration with a security specialist company. We confirmed that someone had impersonated the customer and used their ID and password to illegally log in and use T-POINT gifts.

March 26, 2013

3. The scale of the damage
The number of IDs whose T-POINT were used due to unauthorized logins by impersonation was 299.
Furthermore, as a result of the investigation, no leaks of IDs and passwords from our company due to external intrusions or other reasons have been confirmed.

4. Customer Service
In order to protect customer information, we contacted customers who were found to have engaged in fraudulent use of T Points individually on March 29, 2013, requesting them to change their passwords, etc.

5. Future Actions
We take this incident of impersonation resulting from unauthorized logins very seriously, and will work hard to prevent recurrence by strengthening our prevention and detection measures. Furthermore, we will continue to urge our customers who use our services to take the utmost care in ensuring security, such as by changing their passwords regularly and setting strong passwords for each site they use, and will continue to urge them to use the Internet safely.
