- Earn and use T Points at 1,179 Yoshinoya stores! -
Yoshinoya Co., Ltd. (Head office: Kita-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yasutaka Kawamura; hereinafter referred to as "Yoshinoya") and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda; hereinafter referred to as "T Point Japan") are pleased to announce that they have entered into a T Point Program Agreement. As a result, the T Point service will be launched at 1,179 Yoshinoya stores (as of the end of June 2015), a beef bowl chain restaurant operated by Yoshinoya, by the end of the fiscal year.
As point services expand across a variety of industries, Yoshinoya will introduce the "T Point" common point service to engage in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) utilizing the T Point database, and will work on cost-effective promotional measures tailored to customers, such as encouraging loyal users to continue using the service and retaining new customers.
In addition, by utilizing T-Points' big data, we will be able to improve product development and sales promotion measures through highly accurate customer attribute and behavioral analysis, and understanding consumer insights using T-Surveys. In addition, with regard to store development, we plan to proactively work in various fields, such as using the database to improve the accuracy of sales forecasts for new stores.
T Points, operated by T Point Japan, are used daily by 54.31 million people (active unique number*1), or 40% of the Japanese population, and are Japan's largest shared points service, with points available in a wide range of areas closely related to daily life, both in real life and online, at over 390,000 stores, including FamilyMart, ENEOS, TSUTAYA, Gusto, Edion, Maruetsu, Welcia, SoftBank Mobile, and Yahoo! Shopping. Since beef bowl chains are an industry in which T members have a high demand for participation in the T Point service, we hope that the launch of this service at Yoshinoya will lead to further increases in T Point usage rates and customer satisfaction.
Yoshinoya and T-Point Japan will continue to strive to provide services that will be supported and satisfied by a wide range of generations.
*1 As of the end of June 2015, this is the number of active and unique members who have used T Points in the past year and have multiple T Cards, counting them as one person.
