-Countdown event to be held at Daikanyama T-Site at 12:01 AM on September 4th-

Daikanyama T-Site and other lifestyle-focused bookstores operated by Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (CCC) will be holding an event fair to help people "enjoy Star Wars to the fullest" ahead of the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens (due for release on December 18, 2015).
The core event will be "Force Friday," a countdown event to unveil Star Wars: The Force Awakens merchandise, which will be released worldwide at 0:01 on Friday, September 4th, at Daikanyama T-Site. In addition to the official merchandise that will be announced on this day, original merchandise (manufactured by Culture Entertainment) made using the popular 3D printer will also be available exclusively at Tsutaya Bookstore.
In addition, the store will be hosting a store-wide fair titled "STAR WARS Ready For New Adventure" from August 29th.
After Daikanyama, "STAR WARS Ready For New Adventure" will tour Tsutaya Bookstores in Hakodate, Umeda, and other locations, before concluding at Futakotamagawa Tsutaya Electrics in the winter.

It has been about 40 years since the first film, Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope, was released in the United States in 1977. The CCC Group will use this classic space opera, which can be enjoyed by three generations of parents and children, to propose a "lifestyle of enjoying movies" that goes beyond "enjoying watching movies" through films, events, merchandise and more.

A showcase displaying official Star Wars: The Force Awakens merchandise as well as Tsutaya Bookstore exclusive merchandise.

■Exhibition and sale of official life-size vintage figures of R2-D2 and C-3PO. 　

*There will be a lineup of 15 precious vintage figures, including an R2-D2 figure made by Sideshow, limited to 250 worldwide, and a Millennium Falcon figure (with certificate) made by Master Replicas, limited to 1,500 worldwide.

■Art prints by TSUNEO SANDA, a Japanese artist authorized by Lucasfilm, are on sale.

■Three types of Ukiyo-e Star Wars prints are on sale, depicting the battles with Darth Vader, Amidala, and Hoth.

A STAR WARS-related fair will be held in eight locations within the building.
