Mercedes-Benz Japan and Culture Convenience Club sign contract to introduce T-Point service

- First partnership between an automobile manufacturer and importer to deliver superior customer experience and new lifestyle proposals -

Mercedes-Benz Japan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter MBJ, President: Kintaro Ueno, Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) and Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (hereinafter CCC, President and CEO: Muneaki Masuda, Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) have concluded a basic agreement to introduce "T Points," Japan's largest shared points service.  

Since the 2010s, MBJ has been working to strengthen its new generation compact models (A/B/CLA/GLA) and create new points of contact with customers. In particular, the Mercedes-Benz Connection, a brand information hub that opened in 2011, has been well received as a place to learn about and experience the Mercedes brand, with a total of 4.4 million visitors in Tokyo and Osaka. Meanwhile, CCC is engaged in database marketing through a culture infrastructure that creates an environment that makes people and the world more fun and happy, centered around "T Points," which are used by 56.67 million people (active uniques), more than 40% of the Japanese population.

The purpose of this agreement is to provide a high-quality customer experience and new lifestyle proposals to customers from both parties who have diverse values.

The two companies will continue to discuss and consider specific initiatives, such as issuing original T-Card designs for Mercedes-Benz owners and introducing T-Point services at customer touchpoints provided by MBJ, such as "Mercedes-Benz Connection."We will provide further details in due course.

MBJ and CCC will continue to convey the full appeal of Mercedes-Benz through marketing activities that utilize the T-Point database to increase customer loyalty, and will work together with authorized dealers nationwide to further strive to become the brand of choice and most loved by everyone.
