DAC and CCC Marketing launch YouTube video ad distribution service

D.A.Consortium Inc. (headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and COO: Masaya Shimada; TSE JASDAQ securities code: 4281; hereafter referred to as "DAC") and CCC Marketing Inc. (headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Noritake Takeda; hereafter referred to as "CCCMK"), a database marketing company, have announced the launch of a targeted distribution service for YouTube video ads.
This service creates "interest categories" estimated from the purchasing behavior of CCCMK's physical stores, as well as "demographic categories" such as by gender and age, and enables the delivery of video ads on YouTube that are tailored to the audience through AudienceOne®, a data management platform (DMP) provided by DAC to CCCMK. This will enable targeted delivery by generating categories that utilize not only online web behavioral data, but also offline behavioral data.

■About "AudienceOne(R)"
AudienceOne®, developed and provided by DAC, is a DMP that collects and analyzes ad delivery results, social media, and third-party data from partner companies, and can be used for a variety of marketing initiatives, such as discovering potential customers and turning existing customers into loyal customers. Based on the collected audience data, you can create a variety of segments, and then analyze them by combining them with the segment's demographic information and inflow keywords. As a DMP, it handles one of the largest data volumes in Japan, holding audience data and app data from over 450 million unique browsers, with the amount of data stored exceeding 1 trillion records. It is also possible to link with Google's Doubleclick Bid Manager (DBM)(*).
(※) "DoubleClick Bid Manager" is a DSP (Demand Side Platform) provided by Google, and is a tool for maximizing advertising effectiveness by automatically bidding in real time for optimal advertising space targeted according to user attributes, areas of interest, purchase intent, and advertiser objectives.

■ Roles of both companies
In this initiative, DAC will provide CCCMK with AudienceOne®, and CCCMK will operate targeted advertising via AudienceOne®, which will be sold jointly by both companies.

The collaboration between DAC, which has expertise, experience and technological strengths in digital advertising, and CCCMK, which is engaged in database marketing business centered on the T Point Alliance network of over 530,000 stores nationwide, will enable the provision of even more attractive services.
