Miyazaki Taiyo Bank and T Point Japan Form Business Partnership to Implement T-POINT Service

-A first for a financial institution in Kyushu-

Miyazaki Taiyo Bank Ltd. (President and CEO: Hayashida Yoji) and T Point Japan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and COO:Kazuhiko Kitamura) are pleased to announce that they have entered into a business partnership for point services, as detailed below. This partnership marks the first time that a financial institution in Kyushu has introduced the T-Point service.

T-POINT provided by T Point Japan are used by 61.02 million people*1, or half of the Japanese population, and are the largest common points service in Japan, and can be used in all aspects of daily life, including convenience stores, supermarkets, drugstores, restaurants, clothing stores, electronics retailers, mobile phones, online shopping, and electricity, at over 590,000 stores*2 from 159 companies. In Miyazaki Prefecture, approximately 40% of the prefecture's residents use T Cards.

Going forward, we will work to improve customer satisfaction by linking various financial services with T-POINT. In addition, by allowing customers to use the T-POINT they have accumulated at our bank at affiliated stores in the area, we will contribute to revitalizing the local economy.

○ Overview of new products resulting from this partnership
"T-POINT x Taiyo Power Card Loan"
For every 100 yen of monthly repayments on the T-POINT x Taiyo Power Card Loan, you will receive 1 T-POINT. T-POINT will be credited to your T Card the month following your monthly repayment date (the 13th). To earn T-POINT, you must apply in advance for your T Membership Number at a Miyazaki Taiyo Bank counter.
In addition, to commemorate the launch of the T-POINT x Taiyo Power Card Loan, we will be running a campaign where new users will receive 1,000 T-POINT. All new customers who sign up for the T-POINT x Taiyo Power Card Loan during the campaign period (January 10, 2017 to March 31, 2017) and take out a loan will receive 1,000 T-POINT.
