Tokuma Shoten Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Tokuma Shoten"), a group publishing company of Culture Entertainment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "C.E"), a member of the CCC Group, has published 130,000 copies of the novel version of "A Woman Who Loves Lies." With the theatrical release of "A Woman Who Loves Lies" scheduled for tomorrow, January 20th, the company has decided to reprint an additional 10,000 copies. As a result, the novel, which was born from an original project of the "TSUTAYA CREATORS' PROGRAM (hereinafter referred to as TCP)"*1, is expected to achieve a cumulative circulation of 140,000 copies in just two months*2 since its release.

■ The process leading up to the film adaptation of "Woman Who Loves Lies"
　The film "A Woman Who Loves Lies," starring Nagasawa Masami and Takahashi Issei, is the first feature film by director Nakae Kazuhito, the first Grand Prix winner of TCP, a program to discover video creators sponsored by C.E. and TSUTAYA Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as TSUTAYA), and is the first original project from the program to be released in theaters.

In support of TCP's purpose of "discovering talented creators of the future, creating a place where new talent can be born, and creating an environment where creators can meet and be active in a wide range of fields," he planned and published a novel depicting the world of "A Woman Who Loves Lies."With Okabe Etsuko as the author, the book carefully captures the feelings of the main characters Yukari (Nagasawa Masami) and Kippei (Takahashi Issei) that could not be fully expressed through film, creating a new appeal for this work with a different approach than the film.
