CCCMK Holdings Co., Ltd. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takahashi Yoshinori; hereinafter referred to as CCCMKHD) and Lifelog Technology Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Tanahashi Shigeyuki; hereinafter referred to as LLT) are pleased to announce that they have entered into a business partnership agreement to introduce LLT's "Calorie WebView" to "T Healthcare," a healthcare app for approximately 70 million T members, and to develop joint businesses in the fields of food and healthcare.

Background and purpose of the business alliance

CCCMKHD operates a marketing solutions business that uses T-Card purchasing data, which amounts to approximately 3.5 billion transactions per year, and a wide variety of lifestyle data from approximately 70 million consumers across the real world and the internet, to solve problems faced by companies and consumers and make proposals that meet a variety of needs. In April 2022, we released the healthcare app "T Healthcare" for T members, which provides a service that allows users to maintain their health by making walking a fun habit and earn T points, thereby supporting the health promotion of all T members.

Since its founding in 2016, LLT has been working on the mission of "enhancing healthy lifespans by extending them to a fuller, healthier lifespan," developing and operating "Calorie," a health management app that makes it easier to record life logs, including food, and encourages people to change their behavior toward health. Among the many health management apps, Calorie Milk has the advantage of being able to easily visualize nutritional status from photos of various meals, including meals eaten out and at home, taken with a smartphone.The company has provided this technology and data to external parties as services such as a food image analysis API and a food database API. In January 2023, we released "Calorie WebView," which provides a range of functions from recording meals to viewing and managing recorded data to external apps in WebView format, and have been exploring collaborations with new partner companies.

As a result of this business partnership, the dietary management function using "Calorie WebView" will be available on "T Healthcare" from Thursday, April 6, 2023. You can record your daily meals with just one photo and automatically calculate energy and 30 types of nutrients, allowing you to manage your health while taking nutritional balance into consideration. In addition to the current features of "T Healthcare" such as recording steps taken, calories burned, and distance traveled, the addition of a dietary management function will further support T members in improving their health.

Going forward, the two companies will continue to combine the food record data accumulated by "T Healthcare" with CCCMKHD's purchasing data and point program know-how to create new businesses with high added value and develop mutual businesses.

"T Healthcare" is a healthcare app that allows you to enjoyably record your daily steps, calories burned, and distance traveled while experiencing a virtual walking rally on the app. You can earn "miles" by simply walking every day, and by applying for the miles you have earned, you can earn T-points, as well as receive health consultations from doctors via chat (limited to paid members).

Service Features

1. Earn miles just by walking
Just launch the app and walk, and you'll earn miles based on the number of steps you take. You can experience a virtual walking rally around World Heritage sites on the app and earn miles by passing through spots or reaching the goal of the rally. If you claim the miles you have earned, you will receive 100 T-Points for every 500 miles.

2. Earn more miles by checking in at each store
You can earn even more miles by checking in (visiting) at your local Welcia, Hack Drug, Welcia Ducks, or other Welcia Group stores. You can earn miles by checking in at only one store per day.

3 Automatically record daily steps and calories burned
The app automatically records your daily steps, calories burned, and distance traveled, allowing you to visualize and manage your daily exercise status.

4. Manage your nutrition just by taking photos of your meals
Simply take a photo and the AI will automatically analyze the energy and 30 types of nutrients, allowing you to understand your own nutritional balance.

5 Earn "Miles" by completing missions
By participating in missions such as quizzes and surveys and fulfilling the requirements, you can receive miles according to the mission.

6. You can consult about medical and health-related questions and concerns through the app (paid members only)
A chat-based "health consultation" is available on the app, allowing users to directly consult with a doctor about medical and health-related matters.
