The Fukushima Station East Exit District Urban Redevelopment Association (Chairman: Kato Shinji, hereinafter referred to as the Redevelopment Association) and Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Head office: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture; President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi, hereinafter referred to as CCC) are pleased to announce that they have signed a basic policy agreement for the opening of a "SHARE LOUNGE" store as part of the Fukushima Station East Exit District Type 1 Urban Redevelopment Project.
"SHARE LOUNGE" is scheduled to open on the third floor of the private area being developed by the redevelopment association, and will be the first to open in Fukushima Prefecture.
Details of the store will be announced as they are planned and discussed by both parties.
What is SHARE LOUNGE?
SHARE LOUNGE, which was launched in 2019 by CCC, the company that operates TSUTAYA and TSUTAYA BOOKS, opened at TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Shibuya Scramble Square in November 2019 with the concept of being a place where ideas are born and shared. This space combines the functionality of a shared office with the comfort of a lounge. It is a cozy, lounge-like space decorated with carefully selected furniture, and comes equipped with a full range of amenities such as free drinks and nuts and high-speed Wi-Fi. Anyone can drop in and use it as either a cafe or an office. As a community space where people can meet, we also host a variety of workshops and talk events.
SHARE LOUNGE Features
1: No membership registration required and can be used for as little as 60 minutes. There is also a one-day plan that allows you to use the facility without worrying about time.
No membership registration or prior registration is required, and anyone can easily use the service for as little as 60 minutes (※) by checking in directly at the counter. A one-day plan is also available, and calls and online meetings are possible within the store, making it ideal for remote work as well as for concentrated work such as studying.
(*) Some stores have a minimum service time of 30 minutes.
2: A comfortable space surrounded by books and with a wide variety of seating options.
The store offers a wide variety of books to inspire your ideas, including business books, design books, local books, and popular manga, which you are free to browse. We also offer a variety of seating options to suit your needs, from individual booths where you can concentrate on your work, to sofa seats for meetings with multiple people, or to relax in a cafe. You are free to move seats as long as it is within the time limit.
3: There are also plans that allow you to drink free drinks, food, and alcohol as much as you like.
You can enjoy the bread, snacks and drinks offered in the store as much as you like during the opening hours. If you choose the alcohol plan, you can also enjoy beer and highballs. You can also bring food and drinks into the store.
4: Free Wi-Fi and power outlets are available. Amenities necessary for work are also available for free rental.
The restaurant is equipped with free Wi-Fi and almost every seat has a power outlet. We also provide free rental of monitors, earphones, cables, and other amenities necessary for comfortable work.
5. You can also reserve a seat using the official app, and get 10% off if you pay through the app.
If you register as a member through the official SHARE LOUNE app, you can reserve a table at the store up to 14 days in advance. When entering or leaving the store, you can easily check in and out by simply holding the reservation QR code over the terminal in the store. Also, if you pay through the app, you will always receive a 10% discount off the regular price.
