Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd.
Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture; President and CEO: Yasunori Takahashi; hereinafter referred to as "CCC") has received the "New Office Promotion Award" at the "Nikkei New Office Awards," sponsored by Nikkei Inc. and the New Office Promotion Association (NOPA), for its new headquarters office, which relocated to the Minato Mirai district of Yokohama City in May 2025.
As CCC approaches its 40th anniversary in 2025, it has relocated its headquarters from Shibuya, Tokyo to Yokohama Minato Mirai, Kanagawa Prefecture, in order to further strengthen collaboration among group companies and provide employees with an environment where they can choose more flexible working styles. We consolidated our dispersed floors and locations into one large floor, redefined the ideal way of working in response to the environmental changes brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, and created a new office space.
Based on our HR strategy of "career autonomy," we have introduced "ABW (Activity Based Working)" as a new work style that allows each employee to choose their own workplace—whether it be the office, SHARE LOUNGE, or home—according to the nature of their work and their mood at any given time. Furthermore, the office also adheres to the "ABW" (Activity-Based Working) concept, offering a variety of spaces to broaden work style options, including individual booths for quiet concentration, open tables suitable for brainstorming with multiple people, and a refreshment area with panoramic views of Minato Mirai.
Furthermore, this office aims to be a place where "everyone can freely visit, choose how to spend their time, and where unexpected interactions and discoveries can occur, like a park." With this spatial concept as "CCC PARK," the design was led by the in-house design team, which has worked on spatial designs for places such as "TSUTAYA BOOKS" and "SHARE LOUNGE." This allowed us to make the most of our company's expertise and incorporate not only design elements but also the experiential value of "comfort" into the space itself.

■ About the "Nikkei New Office Award"
The Nikkei New Office Award is co-sponsored by Nikkei Inc. and the New Office Promotion Association (NOPA), and aims to promote and popularize comfortable, functional workplaces (new offices) that stimulate the senses and enhance creativity. The project will be comprehensively reviewed and evaluated based on its underlying concept, specific measures implemented, and the resulting effects.
Leveraging the expertise gained from designing this new headquarters office—specifically, the ability to integrate space, services, and lifestyle content such as art and book selection—and the know-how in creating spaces that resonate with people's senses, CCC will continue to work on creating new value starting from space and will widely share this knowledge.
